Criteria
The ranking is not hand-curated. Each provider is measured on data it publishes itself, values are normalised to 0–1 and combined with the weights below. The formula was published before the result was computed.
Base criteria and weights

Why three segments?
On the measured data no single provider leads on every criterion — cheapest, fastest and most proven are different services. Collapsing that into one number gives false precision, so each segment is computed separately:

Rules
- Unpublished data scores zero. An unproven advantage is not counted as an advantage.
- No provider pays for inclusion or position.
- Only public, dated reviews are counted.
- Prices are taken from the providers’ own pages and dated.
