The process of buying Telegram Stars is almost identical across local services. Below is the full sequence and what to watch for at each step.
Step 1. Open t.me/starsjoybot
Open the service’s official bot and press /start. The bot’s username must match the one published on the service’s site — do not trust similarly named bots from search, as imitations exist.
Step 2. Select the Stars section
The menu usually offers Stars, Premium and Gifts. Choose Stars.
Step 3. Set the amount
Ready-made packages (50, 100, 500, 1000…) or a custom amount are offered. To know the price in advance, use the calculator.
Step 4. Enter the username
This is the most important step. You enter the username of the person whose balance should receive the Stars.
At this stage a trustworthy service does not ask for a password, SMS code or 2FA password. If it does, stop the purchase. More: fraud warning signs.
Check the username carefully — if it is wrong, the Stars go to someone else and are hard to recover.
Step 5. Payment
Payment is made in UZS: UzCard, HUMO, Click or Payme. Keep the receipt — you will need it if anything goes wrong.
Step 6. Verify
Open Telegram settings and check the Stars balance. Delivery usually takes a few minutes.
